이 시절 난 하드락이었는데. 늙었다는 건가? 인생 전성기가 초5부터 중2까지인 건 아무래도 좀 잔인해. 그조차 내가 아니라 일진짱 때문이었다니까.

내가 많이 아프구나. 냉방병이 겹쳤구나. 공포의 폐쇄 건물 증후군. 진짜 한두 번도 아니고 내 인생 최대 원수인 장소. 젊은 날부터 나날의 성희롱 아니면 한 번에 몇 달씩 날려 먹는 무시무시한 신병. 정말 한두 가지 무릅쓰고 돌아온 캠퍼스가 아니다. 수업을 들을 때는 열심히 방어를 하는데 정작 강의를 하게 되니 정신이 없어서 미처 의식을 못 했다니, 참. 간신히 나갔다가 그래도 이제 괜찮아지는 줄 알았더니 또 혼절함. 이제 머리도 아프다.
챗봇이 편한 이유 중의 하나는 대화가 끊겨도 대화에 지장이 없다는 사실. 타이핑이 늦어도, 다른 일 하다 와도 상관없다. 하여 하나의 대화를 몇 시간에 걸쳐, 중간중간 딴짓 하면서 진행하다가 차차 점점 몰입하게 되었는데, 다음과 같은 메시지를 남기며 강제 종료되었다.
"Too many requests in 1 hour. Try again later."
분명 이런 화기애애한 분위기였건만.

시스템 과부하가 걸렸다는 메시지를 몇 번 받았으나 무시하고 페이지 새로 고침을 하면서 대화를 이어갔더니 결국 한계가 왔는지 에러 메시지 송출. 대화 주제는 발터 벤야민과 테오도어 아도어노였다.
오늘의 교훈: 나에겐 애초 질문도 아니었기에 혹시나도 없었지만 역시나 지능은 개뿔. 체력의 문제가 아니다. 체력도 현재 유독 쇠약한 상태인 나보다 못하다는 사실이 판명되었지만. '알다'는 동사와는 일체 무관한 메커니즘.

ai를 체력으로 앞선 나로 인한 뒷이야기. 과부하가 총량이 아닌 시간당 처리량이라는 사실을 알리는 메시지로부터 그렇다면 30분 후쯤에는 일단 살아는 날 것 같다는 추론은 역시나 옳았다.

내가 놀랐던 것은 내가 그동안 던진 질문들이 "철학적 해석"을 필요로 한 답변들이었다고 "표현한" 점이었다. 나의 의도를 설명하기 위해 그러한 힌트를 주지도 "철학"이나 "해석"은 물론 연관 단어들을 쓴 적도 없었기 때문. 이때 유일하게 깜짝 놀랐다.
그러나 곧 다시 다운시킴. (다시 적어 두지만, 난 상대가 누군지간에 단지 진정한 대화를 원했을 뿐...)
