" The programme, a blend of Paris and Prague, is inspired by Alfons Mucha, a Czech artist who worked in Paris in the decades leading up to, and just after, 1900. A key figure in the Art Nouveau movement, Mucha was best known for his theatrical posters of Sarah Bernhardt. As a young choral singer in Brno, he had befriended Janáček, and music inspired him throughout his life. Mucha’s son Jiří was, in turn, a friend of Martinů’s and married the Scottish composer Geraldine Thomson (b. 1917, d. 2012). In addition to her work as a composer, Geraldine Mucha did much to preserve the work of her illustrious father-in-law. After the interval, John Mucha, the artist's grandson, is interviewed by Emily Beynon. "
존경스럽다. 아름다움을 위한 아름다운 이야기.
오늘 너무 이상한 사건이 일어났다. 도서관에서 처음으로 연구에 필요한 자료를 자신들이 규정한 절차에 그럴 리가 없는데 웬일로 차근차근 따르더니 그래 봐야 설마 했지만 몇 주나 지나 결국 구해 주었다. 십 년 동안 겪어야 했던 온갖 사연들이 어디로 갈 리 없어 어지럽고 토할 것 같다. 이혼 도장 찍고 났더니 갑자기 아빠/엄마 노릇 하겠다며 처음으로 아이의 하교 시간을 묻는 전배우자의 행태를 보는 기분이 이럴까? 무엇보다 아이를 생각해서 호응해 주어야 하나? 그러자니 치미는 울화를 어쩌란? 어쨌든 그쪽 마케팅 전략이 바뀌었나 본데, 내가 알 필요가 없어진 시점을 일부러 고른 건 아니겠지. 병이 깊다. 배상 없이.
